Why does this happen?
Receiving the “Trading Closed” error indicates that the market is currently closed or in its daily break period, or that the instrument is in “close-only” mode. During this time, you cannot open or close positions.
Notifications
If the market has not yet opened, you will see: “Trading is Closed”
If you attempt to open a new order, you will see: “Close Only”
How to resolve this issue?
Each instrument has specific trading hours, and some have daily break periods. To avoid this error, trade after the market opens.
