In some regions, a single document containing both identity and address details is sufficient. Please follow the guidance shown in your client portal.
1. Overview & Processing Time
Verification consists of Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Residence (POR). Reviews are typically completed within 24 hours. If no update appears after this timeframe, please submit a request via the Help Center.
Before uploading, select your country/region and the document type in the client portal to see acceptable examples. Non-compliant files will be rejected and may delay processing.
Compliance Notice: AFT services are restricted for residents and nationals of certain countries/regions. We do not accept IDs issued by those authorities. Please refer to the applicable list shown in the client portal.

File specs: All corners visible and data readable; upload all pages if multi-page; supported formats .jpg/.png/.bmp/.pdf, each file ≤ 50MB.
5. What to Do If Your File Is Rejected
If your submission is rejected, a notification is sent to your registered email. Log in to the client portal to view the “Rejection Reason”, then correct and re-upload. If no additional steps are requested, simply follow the verification steps and submit again.
6. Common Rejection Reasons & Fixes
Blurry text/image: Re-shoot/scan with clear focus and no glare.
Expired/insufficient validity: Replace with a valid document having ≥ 1 month remaining.
Name/DOB missing or mismatch: Submit a document showing full name and date of birth matching the account.
Corners/pages missing: Ensure four corners are visible and upload both sides/all pages.
Unsupported document type: Submit from the accepted list (e.g., passport/national ID/utility bill).
Unsupported language: Re-submit in a language listed as supported in the client portal.
Edited/altered image: Provide the original, unedited image or PDF.
Issuing country mismatch: The document must be issued by an authority in the country/region selected in your profile.
Service area restrictions: If you see “Service not available in your region,” check the compliance list or contact support.
Special stamp requirement: Some regions (e.g., Nigeria) require an officially stamped birth certificate or designated document.
Tip: Place the document flat on a dark background with sufficient lighting. When using a phone, disable beauty/filters and avoid auto-cropping. For PDFs, export in original size as a single file without password protection.
