The steps for password recovery depend on which type of password you wish to recover:
Personal Area Password
This password is used to log in to your Personal Area.
Go to http://login.afttportal.com and click Login.
Select Forgot Password.
Enter the email address you used to register your AFT account, then click Continue.
You must verify the recovery action before proceeding, depending on your security type. Click Confirm.
Create a new password that meets the requirements.
Your new password is now set. Use it to log in.
You may need to complete a CAPTCHA before proceeding. Repeated failed attempts may freeze password reset for 24 hours.
Trading Password
This password is used when logging into a trading account on the trading platform.
Log into your Personal Area and click the key icon under Trading Accounts.
Select Change Trading Password.
Set a new password according to the on-screen requirements. If it matches your trading password, the update will fail.
Click Confirm when done.
Read-Only Password
This password restricts permissions after a third party logs into your trading account, prohibiting all trading operations.
Log into your Personal Area and click the key icon under Trading Accounts.
Select Set Read-Only Password.
Create a password per the on-screen requirements. If it matches your trading password, it will fail.
Click Confirm.
Your read-only password has been successfully changed.
