Our top priority is to ensure the security of your AFT account and the safety of the funds in your trading accounts.
Here are some best practices to help prevent unauthorized activity on your account:
Never leave your desktop or mobile device unattended while your Personal Area is open. Lock your screen or log out of your Personal Area.
Never allow anyone to open an AFT Personal Area in your name.
Never share your personal documents (such as ID cards, passports, etc.) with anyone.
Never disclose your verification codes or personal identification numbers to anyone.
Never transfer your funds to a stranger’s bank account, payment card, wallet, cryptocurrency address, or any other means of receiving funds.
Never transfer your funds to a stranger’s bank account or payment system.
Never click on unknown links; if a link looks suspicious, do not open it or attempt to verify it, as such links are often dangerous.
Never share the phone number or email address you use to receive verification codes with anyone.
Only use your own phone number, device, and email to receive verification codes.
Never share your password with anyone. Remain cautious when receiving requests for your password or links to change it.
These scammers live off fraud, often disguising themselves convincingly and even using AFT’s branding (logos and slogans) to appear as official AFT representatives.
If you suspect you may be a victim of fraudulent activity, we recommend raising a request in our Customer Support Center so we can assist you.
How can I tell if I'm being targeted by scammers?
Occasionally you may receive messages claiming to be from AFT representatives. However, AFT will never contact you via SMS, email, or social media to request your account security information or personal identification details, such as your registered email address or trading password. If you unexpectedly receive such communications, use the tips above to verify their authenticity or contact us directly.
In an SMS, email, or social media message, we will never:
Send you a website link and ask for sensitive information (such as your account or trading password).
Offer any promotions or investment opportunities.
If someone contacts you claiming to be an AFT employee:
Refer to the above guidelines to determine the legitimacy of the communication. If it is fraudulent, block the number or email address and delete the message.
If you receive an unexpected call from someone claiming to be AFT staff asking for sensitive personal information or to click on links in an SMS, hang up and block the number.
If you have already disclosed sensitive information such as your registered email address or trading password, change it immediately.
If you are still unsure about the authenticity of the communication or call, end the call and contact our Customer Support team; we always support you in staying vigilant.
How can I avoid falling victim to fraud?
The most important thing is not to respond to any requests for personal or account security information. Always remain suspicious of unsolicited requests. Some SMS, emails, or social media messages may appear to come from AFT.
