What happens?
If you encounter this error, charts may fail to load and quotes on the MetaTrader platform may stall.
Why does this happen?
If you receive a “No network connection” error, it may be caused by:
Incorrect credentials
Unstable network
VPN service
Firewall and antivirus software
How to resolve this issue?
Incorrect username or password
Verify that you are logging in with the correct credentials, including your account number, trading password, and server.
Unstable network
Run a network speed test.
Check your Ethernet cable or reset your modem/router: power it off for at least 5 seconds, then restart.
While your trading platform is active, click the “No network connection” error to display the server list and login options. Click “Rescan servers” to refresh the list and check latency issues.
VPN service
If you have a VPN service running while using the trading terminal, it can cause issues similar to an unstable network, such as slow response times or no connection when the VPN drops. Try disabling your VPN and restarting the trading terminal to see if this resolves the error.
Firewall and antivirus software
If you use a firewall, it may conflict with your trading terminal by restricting or blocking the application’s network traffic. Add your trading terminal to your firewall and antivirus whitelist, or fully disable your firewall or antivirus. Then log in again to see if the issue is resolved.
If the issue persists, please create a request in the customer support center for further assistance.
