What happens?
Charts may fail to load and quotes may stall on the MetaTrader platform.
Why does this happen?
This error indicates a connection issue (slow or interrupted) between the trading terminal and the account server.
How to resolve this issue?
This error usually resolves itself after some time. Please try again shortly. If the problem persists, you can troubleshoot by:
Closing any charts that are stuck or showing “Wait for update” for an extended period.
Exiting the trading terminal completely, then restarting it.
Checking your router connection. To reset, power off the router, wait five minutes, then power it back on.
Temporarily disabling your antivirus software to see if this common error is resolved.
If you have another computer available, try logging into your trading account there to see if the issue repeats. If so, it’s a connection problem.
Verifying that the trading server for your account is correct.
Clicking the connection status bar at the bottom right of the terminal, then clicking “Rescan servers.” This may refresh the connection and resolve the issue.
Reinstalling the trading terminal and logging in again.
