Console logs record detailed information about the interactions between the platform and the browser or other applications, typically used to diagnose technical issues encountered by users when accessing the website or trading platform. When page loading issues, functional anomalies, or errors occur, support staff may request console logs. Below are the steps to download and provide console logs.

1. How to Download Browser Console Logs

If you encounter issues while using the Web version platform or web trading platform, support staff may request browser console logs. Below are the steps to download console logs:

1. Open the Browser Developer Tools

  • In your Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari browser, press the following shortcuts to open Developer Tools:

    • Google Chrome / Edge: press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) / Cmd + Option + I (Mac).

    • Firefox: press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) / Cmd + Option + I (Mac).

    • Safari: first enable the Develop menu (in Preferences > Advanced, check “Show Develop menu”), then press Cmd + Option + I.

2. Switch to the "Console" Tab

  • In Developer Tools, switch to the “Console” tab. This shows the browser console output, logging all information, warnings, errors, and log messages during page load.

3. Reproduce the Issue

  • With the console open, perform the actions that trigger the issue (e.g., logging in, clicking a button, or loading a specific page).

  • The console will record all details related to that action, including errors, warnings, and debug information.

4. Save the Console Log

  • In the Console tab, right-click inside the console window and choose “Save as…” to save the log file.

  • Or copy the console text directly, paste it into a text file (.txt), and save it.

5. Send the Console Log to Support

  • Attach the saved console log file and submit it to support via email or the support platform.

  • When submitting, include the time period covered and the specific issue encountered to help support analyze it quickly.

2. How to Download Trading Platform Console Logs (for Web Platform)

If you encounter issues while using the Web trading platform, the platform itself may generate specific console logs. Below are the steps to obtain these logs:

1. Log In to the Trading Platform

  • Log in to your Web trading platform and ensure the issue has occurred (e.g., page failed to load, trade button unresponsive).

2. Open Developer Tools and Switch to the "Console" Tab

  • As described above, open the browser’s Developer Tools and switch to the Console tab.

3. View Platform Errors and Warnings

  • In the console, look for any errors or warnings related to the platform. Errors typically appear in red, warnings in yellow.

  • If you see errors related to loading, network requests, or trading, note them down.

4. Save the Log

  • Right-click in the console window and choose “Save as” to save the log as a .txt file.

  • Or select the needed log entries, right-click and choose “Copy”, then paste into a text editor.

5. Send to Support

  • Attach the saved console log file and send it to the support team. Be sure to describe your issue clearly, especially the errors shown in the log.

3. How to View Platform Console Logs (for Desktop Platforms)

For desktop trading platforms such as MetaTrader 5, there is typically no traditional browser console. However, you can view the “Logs” folder to see runtime information.

  1. Open the MetaTrader Platform
    Launch your MetaTrader 5 client.

  2. Access the Logs Folder

    • In the platform’s top “File” menu, select “Open Data Folder”.

    • Then open the “Logs” folder to view the files containing runtime log information.

  3. View and Save Logs

    • Open the relevant log file to review recorded actions, errors, and more.

    • Copy or save the log file as a .txt file and submit it to support.
